The context
The Asian Awards is one of the most recognised awards evenings in the UK, honouring achievement across 27 countries. From 2017 to 2019 Refine was the production partner: at the London Hilton on Park Lane in 2017 and 2018, and at Grosvenor House in 2019.
What we owned
Stage and set design, trophy production, judging and nominee logistics from call-for-entries through to on-stage announcement, red carpet press management, guest RSVP and table planning, celebrity presenter liaison, broadcast-grade AV with multi-cam and same-night content delivery.
The challenge each year
The Asian Awards has a global guest list, tight broadcast standards and 20+ categories to present inside a three-hour run-of-show. The production brief evolved each year — new hosts, new stage design, new sponsor integrations — but the operational standard never moved. A tech rehearsal on the day, a pre-light the day before, and a production team of 45 on the night.
